hi.updates=] SYF was on Monday 9th april! On that bright morning, I arrived in school at 6.30 as usual and didn't felt anxious until I really reached school. It's almost like last minute panicking..I do that all the time anyway... I left class at 7.15. Our instructor was late for 30 minutes. We had four hair accessories altogether, two gold pointy dangerous killing/poking-able (darts) leaf shaped thingys plus two red flowers. Our make-up was horrendous, and we look like freaks. The lipstick wasn't red enough, so we had to touch up ourselves. We carried the plates with our lights there. I was having a pink plate with two red lights, one on each. Ms Lena and her friend, Ms Yati got us drinks and sandwiches. I dropped a piece of sardine onto my shirt thing. Costume, I mean. Our costume is red with gold trimming. Our scarves are gold in colour too.. When we reached UCC, it was still rather early. We had to wait for quite a long period of time before we were ushered to the backstage. I should have been excited and anxious, but I didn't felt it..strange?? hmm.. Anyway, all the weeks of practice felt like it wasn't long enough. When we stepped out onto the stage, I just kept saying to myself, we must get at least silver! I think I danced still ok....i hope. It all happened all in a flash. Well, I really meant to cherish every moment that I was on the UCC stage, but it wasn't long enough to let me realise I was actually on stage already..haha..it would be last time I would be representing tkgs in an SYF dance competition cos the next one is in 2 years' time.. We received our results on I think thursday. We got SILVER! I think it's still ok, depending on the fact that we were doing traditional malay dance. I think contem. should have suited us better....but anyway.. It is our 54th annual speech and prize-giving day today. I was the recipient for the english language prize. Li yin didn't come. I was performing as well, so it was rather rushing for me. The school gave a certificate and a envelope with a $25 kino voucher. The make-up done today was so much better than our SYF make-up! Mdm Amizah and Ms deila helped with it. Ms Foo did our hair. Applied lots of gel. I think I was more anxious for today's performance than SYF..haha..Natasha's light on her plate flew up when she was turning..haha..it didn't hit our heads though. On the way back to studio, I was walking behind Dewi and she didn't hold the door for the next person(me), so I was pissed at her and I like chided her for it. She looked so sad..but I mean, it's only a chiding..I do that all the time..sheesh.. Then, after we removed our make-up, I took a packet of milo and a sandwich and met my parents. Then I went home. Afterwards, I had my first piano lesson with a new relief teacher. He's one of my piano teacher's friend too. His style is I think different from my piano teacher's so I must try my best to erm..adapt to it..The lesson ended at about 5.15. At a point through the lesson, my stomach started growling and er...malu...haha.. Today is quite busy, and I created lots of wrinkles for myself..know why? Cos I went home and rubbed the area around my eye so vigorously cos the make-up won't come off. Keshaya's mascara is soooo good and terribly waterproof man..haiz.. The area around our eyes are the most delicate and frequent rubbing will easily create many wrinkles..so says Ms Foo. Anyway, fulfilling day today..see you! |
