Our dance performance today looked rather messy, I think=] But we enjoyed being on the stage all the same! The adrenaline was really OMG! haha. Indescribable...We have been rehearsing a lot for this performance. I'm not sure about the rest, but I've been eating only in the morning before leaving the house and during dinner as lunch is missed due to MSP and dance immediately afterwards. For e.g, MSP started at 2 and was supposed to end at 3, but I had to go for teacher's day rehearsal in the hall at 2.30, which meant that I would not have time to eat. But I believe this was a rather great method to lose weight as I am exercising instead of eating. I think I lost like 0.5kg? haha. After teacher's day, Stacey, Manda, Fish, Fishcake and I went to Cineleisure. During my backbone check-up on Wednesday, the doctor said I could be discharged. The reason: I have "almost" stopped growing. Which is to say that I will not grow thus my spine will not curve an angle even greater than now. Sheesh. I WANT TO GROW TALLER! Alright. Songs from the movie "Secret" are so delicious! Can't wait. But most of them are far too above my standard to be able to play them. Must be more professional in my playing before I can attempt the songs. sigh. But i can try out some though=]Homework's a big chunk as usual. And there's lots to do for piano. Zany was yesterday.After all the activities and prize-giving, we had to do a beach clean-up. As I was an auditor, Tricia, a sec 4 senior and I took the sec 4s to the jetty to do the clean-up. There were the usual groans and wails. Mrs Lim-Neo said that the class with the most amount of rubbish for each level will receive a special prize. As we were walking along, I had this chill-in-my-bones feeling like it's gonna rain. Well it didn't exactly rain, but it poured, and it stopped, and it drizzled, and it poured. Well, anyway, we were all running helter-skelter for (our lives for) shelter. No one got the special prize in the end, and the beach clean-up wasn't that successful anyway. Cos of the rain. Do you want to know what the prize is? *drum roll *rolls on *cymbals Handkerchiefs. Mrs Lim-Neo claimed they were really pretty. But I've never seen them before, so I'm not sure about that. The purpose of giving handkerchiefs is because they are reusable and though it wasn't said out, cheap. haha. piano practical's over. FYE coming soon. Piano practical exam is just round the corner!On Wednesday, we had Carnival Day, Racial Harmony and National Day celebration. We sold muah chee, grass jelly drink, and molasses. Everything was sold out! But I wished we had made more so we could have more profits=] We didn't expect to sell them out so quickly=] LP, Sharon, Shi Han and I made the first batch of muah chee in Sharon's house and I did three more at home.. That was after we made several failed attempts at it. I'm sick of eating bucketfuls of failed much chee already.. haha.. Anyway, total profit : $107.15 Afterwards, I went out with Cat, Fish, Fishcake and Spy. We went to Bugis and Spy joined us after lunch at about 2 smth. We ate at sakae sushi. It was delicious=] I saw this really nice tube top and I really want to get it for my own but my parents being the conservative sort, will definitely not agree to it. So, bye, nice tube. I still haven't gotten cat's present. And her birthday was in JANUARY. Sharon, LP, Shi Han and I went to Tampines on Thursday. I saw a bag and belt I want badly. Haha. Belt's at $39.90 at E spirit (don't know how to spell la) and bag's at $49.60 at some random bag shop. I'm saving for all that and for cat's pressie too. It must feel so nice to have $$!! Hello..CLARA!! I MISS YOU SOOO MUCH!!And I'm starting to feel giddy again. Cos I think I revised too much in the wrong way. And I have low blood pressure!!! It's difficult not to feel pressurised, esp with so much on my mind.. I need to write letters for my parents to sign for skipping dance lessons on tues. I WAS NOT FEELING WELL. Seriously. I had flu and sore throat, remember?? And the next dance lesson on tues clashes with my malay test, so another letter as well.. And on the following tues 14th of Aug, of there's dance and if my piano teacher's willing to give me my last lesson before exam on 15th August, I have to give Mrs Thong another letter.. And I was thinking, wasn't it just the Friday we finished our class decor and returned home to spend the weekend buried in books?Well, surprise surprise..haha. Another week has passed with more or less the same excitment and thrill. There will be about 5 tests or more the next week, followed by carnival day, national day, and racial harmony day celebration. Then, it'll be National Day, followed by a holiday..How blissful.. Anyway, this weekend is bound to be revolving around revision and more revision. But, we must learn to relax=]=] My back-bone check-up is changed to 29th Aug I think. Cos after school on 7th Aug will be my MSP test and preparations for food we gonna be selling on the following day during celebrations. And the piano practical exam is nearer than ever.. smile!=] |
