hey..=]This year's really exhausting. Holidays seem so far away. Thought after the fyes we could rest. But Then came along SPAs and o-levels chinese. We are only 15!!! I'm on the verge on hitting my head against the wall to cause memory loss so I won't have to take exams anymore. Just kidding. Heh. But really...I want my hols!!! We got in for arena. Second level of auditions are on the 3rd Nov, morning till evening. Lucky juniors, already enjoying their holidays. Going to shi yuan's hostel later to discuss the Tan Kah Kee project. Has been sick since 2 days ago. Flu and sore throat. I think cough's on the way. gtg. bb =) Saturday, October 20, 2007
Well..This week was rather exciting with all the results back and all..I'm not quite sure how I feel though.. cos either I have 80 plus or A1, or I have B4. No B3 and A2 at all. my worse grade is C6. For this term. So should I be happy or should I be sad? But the good thing is, I think it balances my emotions. How do you guys feel? Arena auditions was held at SIM on Friday the 19th of Oct. They were so nervous. Although being the reserve, I felt a bit nervous too. I so hope they will get in!! Next week sees our extended studies. I can't believe we were released so early last year. The freaking lucky juniors.. 31st October is the date where we die, TWICE, in a day. Cos in the morning we have O-levels and afterwards, our parents are supposed to meet our FMs together with us and receive our report books. *breathes with difficulty Then, the following weeks would be the days where we will have our SPA assessments. For people who still don't know what SPA is, it is the short form for science practical assessment. The first time we heard it in sec 1, we were so ....immature. Never mind. I should have already forgotten about the golden years of youth left behind... Jumble sale's on 24th probably, since promotion day is on the 23rd. Now I know what's promo day. It's when teachers decide whether or not to let you pass to the next level. That's so mean.. sigh..mean and cruel world. gotta prac my piano. bb. P.S. I feel totally tired because rest is expected after the hectic revision for fyes and now we still got so large-scale exams. This is totally unfair. P.P.S Tricia and I did flag day yesterday. Hey, it's finally down to the checking of scripts..Time to face the music. Honestly speaking, I really felt afraid this time as I knew I didn't did as well as I would have expected myself to do. My heart was thudding against my chest as our answer sheets were passed down the row. I was disappointed with my english results. I really had wished to be the top of the cohort again, but I guess I was too complacent with myself. I was bitterly disappointed with my Chemistry results; the grade was C5. My worst was only A2. The only thing I was glad about among the 3 papers that we got back yesterday was a maths. I got an A1. I think I had improved, but it's a pity my overall score for this year wouldn't be that good due to my F9 in term 1. Received more presents, one purse from my junior, Adeline, one beautifully made cardboard sign with beautiful pics and holders for my music scores from lp, sharon and shi han, keychain with perfume and bells from shi lin, this nice little cute golden cocker spaniel toy from laura and ting and large toblerone bar and big pink poodle keychain from denise (3/8).. Thank you! But I missed unwrapping presents..cos I didn't received any wrapped ones..except from liyin, bennie and hj.. but still, I love your presents! *feels the love in the air Mom bought me jeans, Dad brought us to Swensons for my birthday dinner and bought me a cake and shared the cost of a music cd with my sister. We went to SIM on Thursday for the training for Arena and discussed it on Friday. I'm the reserve. Their cafeteria was air-conditioned and they had a "Popular" bookstore in the campus itself. Aren't you green with envy?? Auditions start on Friday next week. I received my piano results. I got distinction! Yay.. Hope results can be almost the same for my next exam.=] That's all.=] hope results we get back next week would not be as traumatising.. Friday, October 05, 2007
IT IS OVER!Finally.. I feel like an entire weight was lifted off my shoulders! No more burning the eleven o'clock oil (since I usually don't last till midnight), no more frustrating maths questions, no more tormenting physics!! No more killing of brain cells just to figure out "WHY IS IT LIKE THAT."! Haha=] So nice..! Received presents from li yin, hui jie, benita; they gave a dress like thing from precious thots, shi han gave me a card and earrings in a test tube..(haha), jia ji gave me a keychain which has a robot=] Bought sharon, rasyiqah and shi yuan's present today and yesterday. All at tampines mall. Bought a new shirt at bossini's just now..it costed $13. Met Benita and had lunch with her with shi han. Took bus no. 22 and headed home. Had a bath (the cold water was hot) and decided to blog before pratising the piano - helps to flex my fingers while typing. Played air hockey yesterday and suffering from aching right-arm syndrome right now.. Benita feels the same way. We admitted it together over burgers and fries. byebye=] Thursday, October 04, 2007
My birthday yesterday was rather nice and thanks for all the messages you guys sent on friendster! Thanks!We are now in the library, counting down till the time our MSP starts. Though it was rather lonely for me to spend my birthday yesterday alone at home studying malay, the love I felt from my family was more than enough to make up for it. =] I think I'll be going out with li yin and benita and hui jie later to tampines mall after my exam. Watching a movie.. People whose birthdays are coming up: Vidthiya Hui Jie Amy (Brunei=D) Jessie Tricia Li Yin Amanda.S who else? I hope I didn't forget anyone! *remember, I'm still counting down; mentally unstable Oh yeah, my piano teacher has received my pratical results....BUT I do not know my results yet. She says she will pass the results to me next lesson on Monday. Monday, lp, sharon, Shi han and I are going to cinileisure (kbox).. I WISH FOR MALAY TO BE OVER QUICKLY! I think cikgu accidently told us that the picture composition was "sad". Haha. Bacause of my probing.=] What if it turns out to be sad? Never mind la, I'm pass caring already, after so many painful experiences in past tests, this is more or less a routine. As in the tension when they start giving out the papers, the grimace and goosebumps when you realise it's too difficult and the screams and yells to check answers with classmates after exam papers have been collected. haha If the malay paper is too difficult, we'll just laugh, cause it's funny ma. How to do whe you don't understand anything? haha. byebye, I think it's almost time. Gotta reach there early=] |
