I have never been so in love. OMG. Never ever, since harry potter. Even that couldn't measure up to this. The whole period I was caught up in reading, I couldn't stop. Even when I was eating, what I could think of was Edward and Bella. Even when I was sleeping, my dreams were about them. Even when I was actually reading, it seemed like I just couldn't read enough. When I was reading, the hours simply flew past and I didn't even know until it became too dark to read. It was all coming to an end too soon when I finally turned the last page of eclipse as I held the page in mid-air, lingeringly. I wasn't satisfied. Oh dear. Why is the next book coming in the month of prelims?? WHY. I'm intoxicated. Here's the long-awaited part: My Vegie Family!! Tapioca(grand-daddy) Potato(grand-mummy) Cauliflower(Son 1) Broccoli (Daugther in law) Kang Kong(Cauliflower's older female cousin) Tomato(Son 2) Corn(Daughter-in-law) Mushroom (Elder Sister of corn) Spinach(corn's younger male cousin) Brinjal(broccoli's niece) Big carrot (Son 1 of Son 1) Baby carrot (Daughter 1 of Son 1) Cabbage (Daughter 1 of Son 2) Ok, here's how it is. Tapioca and Potato are a weird couple, sometimes arguing, occasionally staring at each other and wanting to dump the other into a potful of boiling onions and mango juice, but underneath it all, cares for each other with a gruff acknowledge of the other's existence. They gave birth to cauliflower and tomato. Both of them are extremely capable and learns fast. Cauliflower married broc, while tomato, corn. Cauliflower and broc live peacefully together and make an envious couple. They have very similar characters and match up to each other's intellectual ability perfectly well. Extremely patriotic and follows government's policy very closely e.g. three or more if you can afford it. Kangkong (sl, tapioca specially requested) is a distant cousin of cauliflower. They are occasion soulmates. Tomato and corn have their occasional squabbles, but love each other a lot, even when corn is not as intellectual as tomato. They share a passion for dance. Mushroom is a very comforting companion to corn and corn loves her a lot too. Spinach is one of corn's dearest cousin and he has a thing for brinjal. However, as we know how fickle man are, and their weird cravings, he seduces cauli to an extra-maritial affair. (No offence meant to any male species who is reading this.) Cauli and broc gave birth to big and baby carrot. Big carrot is actually not very big, but she wants to be called... ...big... Anyway. And baby carrot is really small. Baby carrot constantly squabbles with brinjal but they love each other a lot. They are almost like sisters. Cabbage is the dearly loved daughter of tomato and corn. They spoil her rotten, especially corn. Cabbage and baby carrot loves playing duets together and shares a passion for music. I think cabbage inherited corn's love of music. I hope I didn't miss anyone out! Who else wants to join?! =) I can enlarge our family!!!! Here's the down part: confession to make to big carrot. There are a few bumps on the spine when I took the book out of my bag even before I started reading. I'm so sorry!! It must have been my fault since the book was in my possession, but how could it be so? I mean, I must have known when I did that but I couldn't remember. The only reason I could think of was it got hurt when my helpful classmates shifted my bag and books to the other side of the wall. Cos I placed the books in the plastic bag then in my bag, but I think something squashed on top of it. I was bringing the recyclables down then. I am SO SORRY. WHAT CAN I DO, Big Carrot? I'm so so so so sorry. =( My placenta is ripping off my uterine wall, causing my blood vessels to leak blood out. Oh dear. Pain is gripping me in frequent spasms, making me double over, holding the massive monster at bay.
