Got a shock when I signed in to msn just now. I mean, it's not everyday that I get 51 unread messages...Everyone's so busy now, revising for Os and all. My prelims results aren't that good, so far. And all the disappointment, misery and sadness that I felt over them made me realise something. I was really too complacent. I thought that by praying to God and thinking I could do it, I could achieve the results that I had done all along. I thought that "I am in triple science class, I am certain I can do it" could help me breeze through everything. I thought that the scholarships I receive regularly from the government confirmed me of my capabilities. I thought that I didn't have to work hard. Well, I thought wrong. I have learnt my lesson. From now onwards, I am going to bring out the disciplined me that had been shadowed by my pride and really mug. Because my friends, studying so hard around me, surpassing me in exams, taught me that nothing is impossible in this world, if you put your mind to it and be determined enough to achieve your goals. Everyone is studying so hard, trying to get into the tertiary institution that they want to. I don't want to end up going to a place I don't like. So goodbye, dear friends. Till end of Os. =) P.S. hey girls! Prelims' over! Isn't it great! :DThe sad thing is I've still got my flu and slight cough and the problem with the throat. And the papers were killers. Sigh, hope to pass and preparing for the worst. well, surely will I break my L1R5 record. Having piano lessons tmr. =) Shopping for prom dress next sat (most probably) =D. hugs to all friends! Hi guys, it's thursday already, and how's the revision going? =)By right I shouldn't be blogging now, no one has the time to read this anyway, but a short post: I went present shopping with laura yesterday! And we took random pictures in times. Haha. Laura's blog has all the photos! Go take a look if you want! Link's by the side! (Karen, we stuck out our tongues really way out!!!!Haha.) The concert was great and fishie said she enjoyed it too! Music makes the world go round yo! Mug hard and all the bestie for prelims and Os! P.S.I bought a shirt yesterday! Can't wait to wear it out!!! (on a sad note: only after Os though...) |
